Southern Command
The Southern Naval Command (SNC) is headquartered in Cochin (Kochi). The SNC is the Indian Navy's main training command and is equipped with professional naval establishments, a naval air station, and a ship repair yard. The base is also the site for training of naval and coast guard personnel in naval missile and gunnery systems.
