M1069 Prime Mover/Tractor for M119 105mm Gun
When the 105mm M119 Light Howitzer entered service, the M1069 Prime Mover HMMWV was introduced. The M119 and M1069 Prime Mover and more easily air transportable than the older 105mm howitzer and can also use newer ammunition.
The M1069 Prime Mover utilizes the mobility of the Humvee and the artillery power of the 105 mm Howitzer. It can be spotted by the rack above the drivers compartment the stores the camo net the goes over the Howitzer while in a stationary position.
