DoD Announces Recruiting and Retention Numbers for December 2007
The Department of Defense announced today its recruiting and retention statistics for the active and reserve components for the month of December.
- Active Duty Recruiting.
- December Monthly. All services met or exceeded recruiting goals for the month of December (below) and have surpassed goals for fiscal 2008 to date.

- Active Duty Retention. The Army, Marine Corps, and Navy have all exceeded their retention goals through December.
- Reserve Forces Recruiting.
- December Monthly. Five of the six reserve components met or exceeded their accession goals for December 2007; however, all six have made their goals for fiscal 2008 to date.
