Task Force Liberty Soldiers wound,
detain attacker
TIKRIT, Iraq - Task Force Liberty Soldiers wounded and detained a
terrorist attacker in Baqubah at about 7:50 a.m. on April 19. The
Soldiers' combat patrol was attacked with an improvised explosive
device and small arms fire near the Mufrek traffic circle. The
Soldiers returned fire and wounded one attacker. The wounded detainee
was transported to a Coalition Forces base for medical treatment. No
Task Force Liberty Soldiers were wounded in the attack.
