VBIED in Samarra kills 3 Iraqis,
injures 26
TIKRIT, Iraq - A vehicle-borne improvised explosive device
detonated in Samarra about 8 p.m. April 11. The blast killed three
Iraqi citizens and wounded another 22, including four Task Force
Liberty Soldiers.
One wounded Soldier was evacuated to a Coalition Forces medical
treatment facility, the other three returned to duty. Iraqi Security
Forces are conducting an investigation.
