| January 28, 2005 Release Number: 05-01-39C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE IED KILLS TASK FORCE BAGHDAD SOLDIER BAGHDAD, Iraq -- An improvised explosive device detonated at about 2 p.m. on Jan. 28 in southern Baghdad, killing one Task Force Baghdad Soldier and wounding three others. Two of the wounded Soldiers were evacuated to a military medical treatment facility. The third wounded Soldier was treated and returned to duty. The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation. -30- |
