| December 14, 2004 Release Number: 04-12-17C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO MARINES KILLED IN AL ANBAR PROVINCE Al ANBAR PROVINCE, Iraq -- Two Marines assigned to the I Marine Expeditionary Force were killed in action Monday, December 13 while conducting security and stabilization operations in the Baghdad Province. I MEF force protection measures preclude the release if any information that could aid enemy personnel in assessing the effectiveness or lack thereof with regards to their tactics, techniques and procedures. The release of more details about the incident could place our personnel at greater risk. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
