| December 3, 2004 Release Number: 04-12-04C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE TASK FORCE DANGER SOLDIER KILLED, TWO WOUNDED NEAR KIRKUK TIKRIT, Iraq -- One Task Force Danger Soldier was killed and two other Soldiers were wounded when their combat patrol was attacked by anti-Iraqi forces near Kirkuk using an improvised explosive device Dec. 3. The attack happened about 9:50 a.m. The wounded Soldiers were evacuated to a Multi-National Forces medical facility for treatment. The names of the Soldiers are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. -30- |
