| October 8, 2004 Release Number: 04-10-07C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE TASK FORCE DANGER SOLDIER KILLED, ONE WOUNDED BY IED TUZ, Iraq -- One Task Force Danger Soldier was killed and another was wounded when anti-Iraqi forces attacked their patrol near Tuz on Oct. 8 at about 11:43 a.m. The Soldiers were evacuated to a Coalition medical facility for treatment. The wounded Soldier is in stable condition. The names of the Soldiers are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. -30- |
