| October 7, 2004 Release Number: 04-10-05C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONVOY ATTACK KILLS ONE, WOUNDS TWO LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq - One 13th Corps Support Command soldier is dead and two are wounded as the result of an attack on their convoy by an unknown type of explosive device near Fallujah around 9:45 p.m., October 6. Three wounded soldiers were initially taken to the 31st Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad where one later died of his wounds at approximately 11 p.m. The other two soldiers remain at the 31st CSH. The name of the deceased Soldier is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. The attack is under investigation. -30- |
