| October 1, 2004 Release Number: 04-10-01C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE 1ST INFANTRY DIVISION SOLDIER KILLED TIKRIT, Iraq-One 1st Infantry Division Soldier was killed at about 12:58 p.m. today as Iraqi Security Forces and Multi-National Forces secured areas throughout Samarra on October 1. Four other Soldiers were wounded during the operations. The Soldiers were evacuated to MNF medical facilities for treatment. The Soldiers' name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
