| September 18, 2004 Release Number: 04-09-20C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CAR BOMB KILLS 2 SOLDIERS, WOUNDS 8 BAGHDAD, Iraq - Two Task Force Baghdad Soldiers were killed and eight wounded when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) detonated at approximately 4 p.m. today. The Soldiers were en route to the blast site of a previous VBIED when a second one detonated. Three vehicles were destroyed in the attack. The names of the Soldiers killed are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The injured Soldiers were evacuated to a nearby military medical facility.
