| August 16, 2004 Release Number: 04-08-17C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BLAST KILLS SOLDIER IN NORTHERN BAGHDAD BAGHDAD, Iraq - One Task Force Baghdad Soldier was killed in an improvised explosive device attack in northern Baghdad around 1:30 a.m., Sunday. No other Soldiers were wounded in the attack. The name of the deceased Soldier is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The incident is under investigation. -30- |
