| August 5, 2004 Release Number: 04-08-07C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 13th CORPS SUPPORT COMMAND SOLDIER KILLED IN ACTION BALAD, Iraq - One 13th Corps Support Command soldier was killed and five were wounded when their convoy was attacked with a rocket-propelled grenade and small arms fire near Najaf today. Three of the wounded were evacuated to a military medical facility. One Soldier was treated for minor injuries and one Soldier is being treated on site. The name of the deceased Soldier is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. -30- |
