| June 16, 2004 Release Number: 04-06-15C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TWO SOLDIERS DIE IN ROCKET ATTACK IN BALAD LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq - Twenty-three people were injured as a result of a rocket attack here at approximately 1 p.m. today. Two Soldiers, who were injured, died of their wounds. Fourteen injured were evacuated to the 31st Combat Support Hospital in Balad and seven injured were treated at the troop medical clinic. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. -30- |
