| June 13, 2004 Release Number: 04-06-14C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ONE SOLDIER DIES, FOUR WOUNDED IN IED EXPLOSION BAGHDAD, Iraq - One Task Force Baghdad Soldier died and four others were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated on the northern outskirts of the city at about 12:30 p.m. June 13. Two of the wounded Soldiers were medically evacuated to a Baghdad military hospital, while two others were treated by their unit. The deceased Soldier's name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. -30- |
