| May 3, 2004 Release Number: 04-05-06C FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FIRST ARMORED DIVISION SOLDIER KILLED DURING ATTACK BAGHDAD, Iraq - One 1st Armored Division Soldier was killed and two others wounded when they were attacked with small arms fire south of here May 3. The Soldiers were providing security at a weapons cache found in a raid the previous night. The wounded Soldiers were transported to the 31st Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad. The name of the Soldier killed is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification. -30- |
