ONE MARINE
KILLED IN ACTION
CAMP FALLUJAH,
Iraq
- One Marine assigned to the 1st Marine Division has been
killed as a result of enemy action in the Al
Anbar Province today.
I MEF force
protection measures preclude the release of any information that could
aid enemy personnel in assessing the effectiveness or lack thereof
with regard to their tactics, techniques and procedures. The release
of more details about the incident could place our Marines and sailors
at greater risk.
The name of the
deceased is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
