| July 27, 2003 Release Number: 03-07-83 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CLARIFICATION REGARDING DESCRIPTION OF CASUALTY BAGHDAD, Iraq - Press release 03-07-82 dated July 27, 2003 regarding a soldier killed in a rocket-propelled attack in the northern province of Babil near the village of Al Haswah described the soldier as being attached to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. This casualty was a soldier in the U.S. Army and therefore should not be described as a Marine, but as a soldier. -30- |
