As of December, 2007 Camp Wilson was a predominantly Canadian Camp located in the Zhari District of Kandahar Province. The Canadian and ANA parts of the camp were organized and developed with a barracks compound and other renovated structures. They also had a state of the art communcations facility, while the ANA units had a number of up armored humvees at their disposal.
The Canadian forces also oversaw an Afghan National Police outpost at Camp Wilson but again as December, 2007 the ANP suffered from a number of structural problems when it came to training, equipment and discipline. Unlike Afghan Army's compound the ANP had no electricity or working phones and their outpost was a dilapidated concrete building.
