I Corps Artillery
In September 2008, I Corps Artillery was inactivated as part of the modular transformation of the US Army. The Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, I Corps Artillery was reflagged as the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 65th Fires Brigade, Utah Army National Guard.
The mission of I Corps Artillery was to deploy to a Theater of Operations to Coordinate Fires in Support of Contingency Operations. It provided Command and Control Field Artillery Units retained directly under I Corps. The I Corps Artillery state mission was to provide MACOM Command and Control of the field artillery units located in Utah.
