8th Brigade, 95th Division (Institutional Training)
The United States Army Reserve (USAR) has accepted the challenge to play a significant role in the training of the "Future Leadership of the Army." As a result of this mission assignment, selected reservists are serving as senior instructors in Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) courses at over 50 universities across the United States.
The 95th Division SROTC Brigade, Oklahoma, is seeking and actively recruiting individual soldiers to participate in ROTC programs in the following states: Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas. Officers with the rank of 1LT through LTC and Non-Commissioned Officers with the rank of SSG through MSG are eligible to apply for this exciting opportunity. Officers must have a Bachelor's Degree and NCO's must have a high school diploma. The ROTC mission offers varying training opportunities for candidates with duty performed during the weekday rather than weekends. Each soldier will perform an average of five (5) Individual Unit Training Assemblies per month during the fall and spring semesters. A period of 14-17 days of annual training is performed during Field Training Exercises or ROTC Summer Camps.
