Special Troop Battalion, 4th Infantry Division (Mech)
The 4 Infantry Division Special Troops Battalion came into existence on 15 December, 2004 as part of the Army's new modular transfomation. The Unit deployed 27 November, 2005 to support Operation Iraqi Freedom. The unit was operating out of Camp Liberty, located to the Northeast of Baghdad International Airport.
