409th Base Support Battalion
The 409th Base Support Battalion, located in Vilseck, Germany, supports both the Grafenwoehr and Vilseck military communities. A visit to these communities is an opportunity to experience both the old and the new. The local German communities of Grafenwoehr and Vilseck are rich in history and offer many activities and opportunities for the whole family to enjoy. The 409the BSB mission is to provide training support, quality service, deployment support, Reception, Staging and Onward movement, Integration (RSOI), force projection, and Conventional Forces Europe (CFE) support to all U.S. Government Agencies. On order, become OPCON to the CG, 21st TSC, to support deployment operations.
