204th Air Traffic Services Group
The 204th Air Traffic Services Group has a global mission as one of only two Airspace Management Groups in the Army inventory. It will serve as the Executive Agent for National Guard Bureau on ATS matters.
The unit's counterpart is an active component unit (the 164th ATS Group) responsible for the Korean Peninsula.
An ATS Group is responsible for the Army Airspace Command and Control (A2C2) within a Theatre and are normally found at either Army or CINC Headquarters. The 204th ATS Group has all deployable aviation units within the LA ARNG as subordinate units. These units consist of the 1-244th Command Aviation Battalion and the 812th Medical Company (Air Ambulance).
The ATS Group has Battalion Headquarters located with Corps and ATC (Air Traffic Control) Companies located at the Division level. These companies are located in the following states: Minnesota, Indiana, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma.
