2nd Battalion (FA), 395th Regiment
The 2nd Battalion (FA), 395th Regiment mission is to Facilitate Pre-Mob Collective Training Of Affiliated National Guard 155 mm Field Artillery Priority Units at Home Station & Training Centers, Using Yearly and Mission Training Plans & Wartrace; To Achieve Battery Level proficiency & to Set Conditions For Post-Mob Training; Assist Traditional Units as Resources permit.
FA TSBn @ Hood is mechanized, primarily Paladin. FA TSBn @ Chafee is light, towed. Only four other FA TSBns in 5A AO -- Carson & Lewis (mech) and Sill & Riley (MLRS). USAFAS Artillery Tables now mirror M1/M2 tables. Focused training: language (FTX, LFX), resource allocation, MTP tasks. Pre-Mob Focus is through AT 15, battery level qualification. METL does not include an MSCA mission.
