1st Battalion - 244th Command Aviation
The mission of the 1st battalion, 244th Aviation, is to mobilize and deploy to war to provide command, control, and communications (C3) enhancement; staff transport and liason; target acquisition and reconnaissance; and limited air movement flights, for the corps.
This unit apparently has a dual WARTRACE, both to the XVIII Airborne Corps's 18th Aviation Brigade as well as to III Corps's 6th Aviation Brigade 63rd Aviation Group.
