1st Battalion - 160th SOAR
The 1st Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) is based at Fort Campbell, KY. The unit is equipped with 18 AH-6H/J, 18 MH-6H/J, 20 MH-60K, 15 MH-60L (of which about half are configured as 'AH-60L'). The unit was formed in 1990, and reportedly was assigned to support operations supporting 1st SFOD-Delta ('Delta Force'), SEAL Team Six and various civilan intelligence agencies.
