Iran using all potentials to design kinds of drones, minister

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA -- Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Iran is using all opportunities to design various kinds of drones.
Talking to reporters at the sideline of an exhibition here Tuesday, he was asked whether Iran was mass producing drones similar to the America's Scaneagle.
Noting that producing drones in every design and technology is the mission of his ministry, he stressed that the Defense Ministry is definitely mass producing several kinds of drones.
Asked to comment on installation of patriot missile systems on Turkey-Syria borders, he said Iran has always voiced its opposition to the presence of alien forces in the region since Tehran believes that it would not benefit Muslim nations.
Vahidi further said that western powers have repeatedly proved that they are only after their own benefits and never even think of the interests of Muslim nations.
On Syrian developments, he said the happenings there would only benefit the Zionist regime which is sitting by and watching destruction of a nation that has been in the frontline of resistance movement.
Stressing that the true winner of the Syrian developments is the Qods occupying regime, he said the loser of the Syrian civil war is its Muslim nation which has been taken hostage by terrorists who are massacring them in the most brutal manner.
