1 July 2011 Reconnaissance Imagery - Gharyan Military Compound

The reconnaissance imagery below is of the Gharyan Military Compound. Gharyan is located approxmiately 80 km south of Tripoli.

For a period of four days prior to this imagery being released by NATO, coalition air assets had been tasked with targeting Libyan regime military assets in the area. A total of eight military targets including a military complex used to resupply pro-Qadhafi forces. The airstrikes also resulted in the destruction of tanks and other military vehicles.
